click on START/RUN/MSCONFIG/STARTUP/DISABLE ALL
restart ur computer check the box on the message u`ll get when ur computer start ,make sure the programs that flicker (near the clock :P not realy importante or u have choice to keep some and disable some

It's possible that the refresh rate of your monitor needs to be set a little higher. Right click on a blank space on your desktop, then select "Proprties", then click on the "Settings" tab. Click on "Advanced", then "Monitor". That'll take you to a section where you can change your screen refresh rate. It's probably set at 60 hertz....use the arrow to up that to 75 hertz. Then exit, and reboot. Your flicker will more than likely disappear. Hope this helps.
