This was Lucy Ricardo's maiden name (of the "I Love Lucy" tv show)... I would imagine it refers to her ineptness and bumbling simpleton ways.....

It was Lucy's maiden name or the TV program. I am not sure it if means silly or what it means.

'not sure, but the maiden name of the character "Lucy" in "I Love Lucy" was something like "Magillicuddy".
