Well, there's a woman I really hate and she's calling me a poser, just becasue I like emo. And she's 19. Anyway to make her shutup?

Thanks for asking. I've been waiting for a chance to get mad with someone about this. The system and society really does promote people to be an infant in their personality. As if, personality does not matter and various noises and impulses are the extent of all being. 19 seems okay to go through this one but when your 30 or 40 and people still tell you you can't be yourself it really gets weird. your critic probably has a person in her life that can cause "slap-happy glee" which is a consciousness that is common-place for bacteria. To make her shut up, block her from re-charging from the source of "slap-happy glee".

Do you hate her because she is calling you a poser - OR - is she calling you a poser because you let her know you hate her?
Either way, you should probably stay away from her if she upsets you so much - I mean, why be around someone you can't stand? Don't put yourself into such a negative atmosphere.

Jamie, I call them as I see them and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If you were not so insecure, you woulnt give a flying fu*ck what I thought, and frankly, I dont give a flying fu*ck what you think. But in reality, everyone has to grow up at some point, and you just havent made it to that point yet. I HAVE. And I have gotten married, I have a 2 year old daughter, and I have been through A LOT of **** in my life that you seem to be going through, too. I think you need to think for yourself, Jamie, and stop trying to be someone your not, like everyone else. Each person is an individual of their own, and once you see that being a "sheep" isnt as cool as just being yourself, you'll then realize life is about to get much easier, socialy. BTW , just my opinion, but 19 is not an adult most of the time. Not a knock, just an observation after 50+ years on this planet!

19, sorry age does not a woman make. Takes a lot more then that to call someone a woman. Ignore her. It may get worse before it get better. Hang though.

Because life itself is immature....we need to laugh. If someone who's 19 is calling you a poser, it sounds like she needs to grow up, but you should just ignore her either way.

Being mature doesnt't have any relation with your age. Its a wrong type of thinking, which we usually observe.
Many times I also found people who are preity elder than me but in terms of maturity, I found them like kid. The reason could be their approach towards life and its challenges. If you always take life's problems as learning opportunities, you will find yourselve much mature irrespective of your age.
