Everything on the earth would go floating into space. If the atmopshere was gone that would also mean that gravity was gone. The atmosphere is held in place by gravity and without the pressure or the force of gravity on everything, things would just float off including the oceans, the birds, bigfoot, chocolate eclairs, school books, George Bush and a lot of other things.
Then exposure to the universe would probably cause organisms to blow up due to the inconsistancy in pressure. And as you mentioned the sunrays would probably EFF us all over if the first two didn't kill us first. Simply said as others have said, everything would probably die, unless it had some sort of long lasting oxygen mask with gravity boots.

we will all die of ashixiation if we dont burst into flammes first
so will the animals and the plants will instantly die being deprived of water and turn into dust
we al will turn into dust
the atmospher protects and keeps the aquiferus mantle, that surrounds the earth, intact
and we are a part of that
99 molecules of mort living things are water
if there is no atmosphere the water is gone and so is everything that was made from water -
this is what happened to mars
it was called the god of War
the red planet and now the dead planet
is the same thing what happened to mars gonna happen to earth
,if we keep messing with the forrests that produce this protective blanket +
i hope not
i hope the people will wake up in time
to realise that we cannot exist with out our bio mass
but my hopes fall when i read the mayority of questions and answers ,here of the people who refuse to believe that we are in trouble.

If our earth doesn't have an atmosphere, yes we will all be dead, but not by sun rays. When the earth has no atmosphere gravity wouldn't exist causing all of us to float to space. Another is that the sun will shoot out whats called "solar flares" a solar flare is a long gaseous and dangerous explosion, this flare causes everything to be destroyed, look at mars, that is what will happen to earth if it didn't have an atmosphere.

Earthquakes have not got any genuine effect on the ambience. Volcanoes spew out the two dirt, which motives worldwide cooling, and CO2, which motives worldwide warming. The CO2 lasts longer than the dirt, however the dirt effect from an exceptionally enormous eruption is profound. you will in no way get rid of hurricanes and cyclones except you end the sunlight from shining. here is why: - think of a around ball it particularly is carefully lined in hair - now get a hairbrush and attempt to sweep that hair thoroughly flat throughout - you won't manage to do it. there'll constantly be slightly twist of hair on the ball someplace. The hair represents the wind, and if the sunlight is shining the wind will blow. The sunlight constantly pours potential into the wind, and all it may do is blow. The twist which you won't manage to get rid of is a typhoon. this implies that, in any respect cases, there is usually a minimum of one lively typhoon someplace in the worldwide. it won't manage to be in any different case. that aside, in case you probably did get rid of the particularly enormous storms you may in all probability get extra worldwide warming. Hurricanes take potential from the sea and sell off it by radiation into area. in addition they improve cloud hide and subsequently improve the albido (sp?) of the planet, its "whiteness", which will improve the mirrored image of image voltaic radiation. Hurricanes are something of a protection valve for worldwide temperatures, so battling them collectively as increasing worldwide temperatures might create an instability. ultimately the gadget in simple terms does not cope and there may well be one enormous huge mom-of-all hurricanes.

No atmosphrere means no air pressure (duh). In areas where the pressure is lower, so is the boiling points. If you remove the atmosphere, liquids cannot exist because the boiling point is so low, that the sun heats them to above boiling. So all the water on Earth boils away in the vacuum, while all life suffocates. The sun's rays will be intensified.

um you realize thats kinda what holds air in and sun rays out and its kinda important to anything alive that it stay in place right? basically we would become like mars except instead of next to no atmosphere we would have no atmosphere. there would really be no hope for life on our planet as we know it (carbon based duh) without atmosphere.
