I want to move out of Texas and see a totally different place. I have a young child and want to move to a kid friendly place too. What's the big differences between Texas and NZ? Whats the cost of living in NZ? I'm white and my daughter is half black, would the people of NZ make a big deal out of that? Is it racially mixed there? ~Thanx

You wouldn't believe what a gentle world it is down here. The fact that your daughter has darker skin will go literally unnoticed. It isn't exactly a "racially mixed" society, as you put it, but there is a general consensus here that it doesn't matter what anybody looks like. You would probably find New Zealand a lot softer than Texas - to the point where you probably couldn't believe what you're hearing. Imagine New Hampshire, and then multiply by 50. The cost of living is comparable to that of Texas, especially as you move further south. But keep in mind that healthcare is fully state funded, there is a state pension plan for everybody, schools are free, and there is a generous welfare system much unlike anything America has. It's a lot like Europe that way.

Its a step in the right direction.
When you get there you will find that a lot of Kiwis have moved to Australia there is a lot more work here.
I don't think you will have too many racial problems both Aussies and Kiwis are easy going people.

i'm french and have been residing interior the U. After 5 days i had to bypass back and replaced into so satisfied to bypass abode in Arizona!

i think you should move to australia because it is a multicultural country and is not racist at all.it is defitnetly kind and friendly too.
