I'm going to a student State Conference, and the attire calls for "relaxed professional". I don't know what that calls for. I've never been to one of these things... so what are some good teenage stores to find that type of formal professional clothing? I don't want to overdress, but I definitely don't want to underdress, which is why I won't wear the semi-formal prom-ish dress that I have. So help me? Just list some stores that are reasonably priced.

There you go:

Charlotte Russ
Express
The Limited

You can find nice and no to expensive pieces that can help you to put together an outfit that can be dressy but casual perfectly appropriate for your age. Even Target has this Mossimo line that has some really nice clothes.

You will look fabulous!

Good Luck!

Try Pennys or Sears. I'd opt for a black skirt or pants with a white blouse and maybe a jacket but pick things that you will wear again even if you would mix them with other things you have. Classic clothes that never go out of style are what you want and maybe petite womens would work for you, look at those too. A nice suit is fine but it always looks like a suit, the seperates are more useful in the long run. Good luck. Have fun. A nice black dress is great too, different jewelry or accesories makes it wearable later too.

JCPenneys! Their juniors section has so much CUTE, dressy clothing in all sizes. Like right now they have this super cute white skirt with yellow jacket its relaxed professional I would think. And they also have all different kinds of suits (pants+jackets and skirts+jackets) as well as separates. I always go there to find dressy stuff. And they are definately reasonably priced.

Check out Le Chateau or Costa Blanca you'll find just what you're looking for and at very reasonable prices.
