my ability to love an be loved, without it my world would be empty, my relationships with my children, my partners, my family and friends would all be meaningless, and they are so valuable to me and give me so much joy and happiness, that a life without that would be a very sad one indeed

I have five daughters aged 21, 11, 9,5 & 1 as well as a 19 year old son, the result of a 23 years of marriage to the perfect woman. And I got to tell you he older they get, the less precious they become. I love them all, don't get me wrong, but fair or not, the little ones trump the older ones with ease in the preciousness area. I love my son, but if he worked for me, I'd fire him he is the dictionary definition of the word ingrate, and my oldest daughter redefines self centered. The middle two have their moments but generally fit the precious mold. The baby & five year old are so cute words just don't do it justice, and truly are precious.

My dog Sophie (a doxen) treats me better than all of them combined.

Collectivly I thank God for them everyday, and have to admit without God in our lives precious is just a word.

It has to be oxygen...Yes we all take it for granted, but it's always there for us. Without it I know I wouldn't be answering this question so it is the most precious thing in my life, right in front of my family for the same reasons of course.

thru experience i learned that is love. NOt only love towards my partner, but also my friends and family, the people and animals i dont understand, the things I do, the love for myself, for the things I do without love are pointless and empty.

My independence of mind and body. So long as I can work hard to support my wife and think clearly enough to keep our lives interesting, I have no complaints.
