Hey!
I am looking for a good picture on the intenet which displays the pharoh slaves working to create the pyamids.
Does anyone know where I can look or have a site that leads me to this picture

Well since there where no camaras of that time I don't think you will find a real picture. Ha Ha . have you tried a yahoo images search??

The pyramids were built by normal farming citizens while the Nile was in its flooding season and they couldnt do whatever people do with crops. I think this theory came from the 'nilometer' (yes, to measure the height of the Nile, something to do with the thickness of silt to see how long the flood lasted each year). The years where the floods were longer there was more emphasis on engineering and their technology advanced because citizens had to wait longer to be able to harvest crops. You could probably find an image of slavers whipping people to build the pyramids but they would not be historically accurate.

Well, most historians now believe that the pyramids weren't built by slaves (and defintely not by Jewish slaves), but were built by the common people during the Nile's flood, when farming couldn't be done. There may have been some slaves, but most of the people were regular people just earning some extra money.

i dont think that really happened, i have my own theories though.
because seriously, the egyptians erected the pyramids in less than half the time it wiould take US to make them in THIS day and age, AND we have the technology and mathematics to MAYBE do it. BUT NOOOOO, the egyptians KNEW something we DON"T. Hmmmmm,.....anyways, good luck on your picture hunt.....you may want to try a high school book or something, they tend to teach us all a bunch of B.S. anyways..:)
