My boss gave me a used Volvo because I was a good worker for a long time. I had no license at the time so I couldn't register it in my name. The car broke down badly and cost $500 to fix so my step mother paid it. My dad then said if I let my sister use it then she will pay for it. Then behind my back they both get the car registered in her name. I was furious but they said I wasn't driving it since I had no license. I have kept quiet for months but now that I'm fixing to get my license back I want the car. My sister says that it is hers and I can't have it. Is there a chance I can get it back with a lawyer or some other way? I can't afford a car myself at the moment.

Small claims court. Get written proof from your boss that he gave you the car. Unless your sister has a bill of sale from you then she has no proof that you ever transferred ownership of the car to her.

You could have registered the car in your name when you first got it, though. You don't have to be old enough to drive it to be old enough to own it.

If your sister was able to register the car in her name that means her name is on the title. You have no proof that the car ever belonged to you. For future reference-you do not have to have a license to purchase, own, license or insure a vehicle. I'm sorry you had to learn this hard lesson-always get it in writing because literally anyone can prove to be untrustworthy.

Get the proof it was given to you and for a small fee you can take it to small claims court. Its a simple process, just go to the court house and fill out papers to do this. It will cost you a small fee that varies state to state. Forget the lawyer, they charge so much you could probally buy a mighty fine car for what the lawyer would charge you.
I'm sure your boss would go to court with you, he probally would not be happy he gave a car to you and your sister has it.
Good luck!

Get written proof from your boss that he gave you the car. Anyway your sister would not have any proof that she bought the car because she have no receipt.

Also gather evidence that you were cheated by your sister.
