Que sera sera was sung by Doris Day. it was written for the movie the Man who knew too much. It was supposed to be the song that would tell the boy that his mother was there to help him It was suppoed to have the feeling of being an old folk song but it was written for that movie. It became her theme song when she got her onw TV show

Que sera sera. The version I remember was by Doris Day many years ago (50s?) but has probably been covered by many artists. It is Spanish for What(ever) will be will be.

Doris Day and I think she is still alive. I think it was from a Hitchcock movie called The Man Who Knew too Much, I remember James Stewart was in the movie.
