The only free speech they believe in is their own, your free speech will be stepped on and crushed and that will be ok to them because they really don't believe in FREE speech.

Unfortunately, I agree with replies so far, no shock here. Selfserving is about winning and not what is right.
The far left is just as bad as the far right.
I've always believed free speech is only as good as I treat it.
I see rules on the bus, no fowl language. Some bus drivers enforce it and some don't. Just because some people get away with it doesn't mean I can join in breaking the rule.
I must maintain the rule whether or not it is enforced because I care. I cannot make others do what I do, but by my action, I promote the right thing to do. I don't think the ACLU believes what I believe.
Peace.

I don't know.
YA is a private service, there is no guarantee of free speech. If you feel strongly about this, then object to yahoo, not here where it's just empty rhetoric, or if you prefer, whining.
You don't reference or copy your answer. Did it comply fully with the terms of service? Did you use insulting language, direct your comment t the person?
There is no corner on the reporting market. It happens a lot and it's not confined to any 1 group.

ACLU
American Civil Liberties Union...what a joke. These people are defending child molesters, fighting for porn in library compurters, keeping schools from having christmas plays. They believe people on death row are there because of their "lawyers' errors" (quote from www.aclu.com). Not because the fact that they KILLED someone. They fight for INMATE rights...like they should have any...and I have been to prison.
Other than that, what were you going to do with those 12 points anyway...you are not getting prizes, or trading for cash, so WHAT then?

Can you contact the Yahoo people in charge of this forum and plead your case and have them read exactly what you said and ask them to rethink their discipline? If you were not abusive and did not do any name calling, I would say they penalized you unfairly, irregardless of what the woman said.
I'm of the opinion that if you aren't going to like the answers you are going to get, then don't ask the question.

I agree with Jimmy b, when something important comes on line the elitist come on strong , and have you noticed that any time any one condemns Israel for any thing the Zionist come out of the wood work to degrade and call the questioner every bad name they can conjure up, they want to keep people from saying any thing bad about this bandit state, but, when they call me anti Semitic, I am kind of proud because from their point of view you can't be pro American unless you are anti Semitic,

It seems that the lady, if your account is accurate, is a mindless, useful-idiot. These types are almost as bad as the conservative-liberal Bush zombies. Both types have fallen prey to the easily deciphered game of "us vs. them." This fatal game is perpetrated by the global elitists who will distract you until it is too late. We must all realize that Republican vs. Democrat is a farce. This is a soap opera to keep us distracted from the daily atrocities committed by our elites. The Republican elites are in the same boat with the Democratic elites.
Vote for Ron Paul! Ron Paul is the champion and defender of the Constitution of the United States of America! God save America!!!!

I've been reported several times by the same person and her aliases. Its gotten to the point where every time I refute her claims I have to dare her to report me again.

Since the ACLU was started by a bunch of communist nutcases, it's par for the course for them to continue to stifle free speech if it differs from their agenda.

They fight for THEIR free speech. They will go to all extremes to prevent you from exercising it. Liberals treat the Bill of Rights like a one way street; it it's not going their way they have no use for it.
