well i had sex about two days before my period. when it came it was very different, longer than normal but more like random spotting than an actual flow. about three days after my period i started getting headaches and an upset stomach like a deep down twisting along with the lump in your throat want to throw up feeling. then i started getting random side pains and feeling really tired. like walking through a store just took it out of me. at first i thought i was just getting a cold or the flu, but i never get cramps or headaches and now two weeks later i'm still with the headaches and the nausia and feeling tired. my breast are sore as well and i'm having a lot of trouble sleeping and getting comfortable. i took a pregnancy test and it was negative but i'm still about 9 days from having my next period.
am i pregnant? did i take it way too soon and should i just wait and take another one later?
i'm also peeing way more and i'm more hungary than usual.

hmmm, I'm not sure that the symptoms of pregnancy would come that soon after you think you may have been impregnated, but when I was pregnant thats how I knew.

You took the pregnancy test to soon, they have tests out know that you can take up to five days before your missed period, but if I were you I would stop stressing about it and just wait and see if you miss your period, then take a test. Make sure you do it in the morning because the results are more accurate.

If your not pregnant you might want to see your primary care physician to see why you are feeling this way, you may just have the flu or some other illness. Congrats if you are preggo!

Well its a little early to get alot of those symptoms it could be all in your head, but you said you had spotting and thats a big sign of implantation bleeding so than again you might be pregnant. Wait a few more days before you get your period like maybe 5 days before, and than buy first response it detects the pregnancy hormone 5 days before your missed period. If it comes out negative and you still feel those symptoms you should try going to a doctor and telling him how you are feeling and maybe he can give you a pregnancy test by blood which is faster and easier to dectect pregnacy. Good luck. : )

If you are that close to your period, you would have likely ovulated up to about 2 weeks before. Therefore, it would be impossible to get pregnant then. However, unless you are charting your fertility signs, it's unlikely you can accurately pinpoint your ovulation. It's possible you hadn't ovulated yet and the bleeding was actually ovulatory bleeding. In which case, you could definitely get pregnant.

The best way for you know know about your cycle is to chart your fertility signs. Your chart can tell you when you are fertile, when you are not, when you are ovulating, when to expect your next period, and when to suspect pregnancy. Your chart can also tell you if there are issues delaying conception or causing difficulty w/ carrying a pregnancy and if there are serious issues which need a doc's attention.

Some good sources for charting your fertility signs: Fertilityfriend.com (free software as well as a pay-for version and on-line charting turorial); ovusoft.com (discussion boards for many fertility related issues, much info on fertility after the pill, and a very good software for purchase). The books Taking Charge of Your Fertility (associated w/ the the ovusoft website and software), The Art of Natural Family Planning, and Garden of Fertility

It really does sound like youre pregnant. You have most of the classic signs. I would go to the doctor and have them administer a blood test. A blood test is more accurate than a pee test.

take another pregnancy test, preferably one at a clinic, the can tell you for sure, it sounds like youre pregnant. and think about using a condom or some kind of contraceptive before having sex next time.

Probably not. Pregnancy test are usually really sensitive to hormonal changes during pregnancy. And you did get your last period. So its highly unlikely that you are pregnant. Keep us posted.

If you are feeling so bad, why are you sitting at the computer and not at the doctors? What do you possibly have to gain from reader's answers? You could be sitting here for the next three days waiting for a response. Duh
