Basically, it's because Bush is an idiot and he has his priorities out of wac. He insists on making every oil bearing country a democracy, when it's really none of his business. He is continuing the tradition of the US being the world's policeman. Really, is Iraq better off now? As far as New Orleans, yeah, they need help, but that city should never have been built in the first place. It's a big swamp below sea level. Whoever is still there should move and let the gators move back.

Listen dude all the government is entitled to offer you is the protection of your natural rights. Its not obligated to give you a nice house with a corvette and a pool. Also New Orleans is going to take time to get built. The government is not supposed to wasting billions so katrina victims can stop complaining it should be using money to fight terrorists that are going to kill us. Katrina destroyed New Orleans not the Federal Government.

Why should taxpayers foot the bill to rebuild a city below sealevel so it can have the same fate again? We send money overseas because they have real needs and we are a mostly Christian nation which doesn't believe that all our neighbors are next door.
