Oh my gosh...

I have delayed getting my prescription for SO many months because I didn't want to get a full examination like you..

Girl... I tried to avoid it soo much... I researched to find out if there were any places to where I didn't have to get that done.. I mean come on I don't want someone all in my junk... lol

But eventually I was like you know what, I need these stupid pills. And hello.. I'm 16 years old.. AND a virgin. I hated the fact I had to get an examination done for the pills.

You'll have to get it done sooner or later.. and when I went to my OBGYN it was not bad at all..

Like i was really suprised and I kinda felt dumb for being so nervous about it. It took like 5 minutes and it didn't hurt or anything and the doctor will make you feel really comfortable.

I'm sure the doctor has seen the nastiest most infected smelliest vagina's ever, and hundreds of them.. so who cares..

lol

But yea there probably won't be a way to get around it.
Just go and get it done. It isn't as bad as it seems, at all.

The birth control pill does not always clear up everyone's skin.
It did nothing for mine.

Taking the pill for just your skin is not worth putting those hormones in your body and getting side effects/after effects. I have been on the pill for medical reasons for 14 years and I know. I have had some problems because of it. Save your gallbladder and go to a dermatologist instead who can better help you.

Actually doesnt birth control mess your skin up? If you want something to clear your skin, see a dermatologist. If you are wondering about the exam needed to get birth control so that you can safely have sex, then its just a matter of talking to your family doctor. But birth control doesnt mean safe sex and the odds of getting pregnant are still just as high as if you werent using it.

a good doctor will give you a complete examination before prescribing any medication. in the case of birth control, this will include an exam of the reproductive organs.
if you really want medication for your skin, there are much better alternatives.

Yes, because birth control is a drug and it makes changes in the body which need to be observed at intervals. So, go for the exam, it's really nothing and you will have the pap which you need to have anyhow. good luck. the local health Dept. will do it for free, usually.
Call and ask.

There are other ways to clear up skin but if your heart is set on using contraception for this, speak to your doctor about it. I expect the doctor will suggest other methods for acne control.
