Legian is a great spot it is between Kuta and Seminyak walking distance to very many night club's and restaurants not forgetting the beach.
depending on what your interests are you can go to the Bali Bird Park which is world class spend a day at waterboom park great fun attend a cremation very interesting..go to the holy mineral pools in the north of Bali Lovina most of all meet the wonderful friendly always smiling Balinese. Do take the time to get away from the tourist places and see some of the wonderful culture. Hiring a car with a driver will cost about 250,000 Rp per day

Legian is very convenience place. It is easy access to the beach, shopping centre, superstore, cafes, restaurants and there is very affordable hotels along the beach and in Poppies Lane ( I/II).
Hard Rock Cafe,Center stage (HR Hotel), Kamasutra ,The Wave located along Kuta beach, Mbargo,Bounty and Paddy's at Legian, are usually very crowded with its live musics where locals and tourists are blended. You can easily going to Seminyak where that is another hot spot for tourists and locals hang out. Try Double6,Dejavu for their best music and ambience.
Hope this helps, should you have further info feel free to email.
