I like this guy right now and im not sure if he likes me or not! He knows that i like him for a long time. when he's around his guy friends he barely talks to me. however whenever we're in a small group of friends, outside of school or in school, he talks to me more than anyone in the group and continues to stare at me! sometimes at school i tend to see him looking at me, then smiles. I seriously do not understand this guy!

Guys are always giving mixed signals. i would say hes totally into you, but afraid what his friends might think. you should look for a guy who likes you for you and is not ashamed of you. if he really truly likes you, he wouldn't be afraid to show it in front of his friends.

This guy is just being a typical guy. Guys are more quiet around their guy friend because they never want to seem to into a girl and because they just want to be around their friends. It sounds like he likes you though. I think you should take the risk and ask him out. What's the worst that can happen?

if this guy smiles at you when he sees you, talks you alot more than others in small groups and stares at you, HE LIKES YOU I would bet on it!

Dude, I am SO in your exact place! Please know that you are NOT alone and that what this guy is doing is being...well, a guy. He is shy and unsure of how to approach you, but he knows he wants you and knows you want him. Ask someone to mention it to him and report their findings back to you to get things moving along...that's what I'm doing.
