Wow, a lot of negative answers to your question. Well I have two cents to add.
All of those chores were typically assigned to women because men went out to make the money and handle the fiances etc. Of course these days things have changed.
With that said it should be looked at in simple economics. If the man has the only job outside the home and the woman doesn't being in any money then yes she should be responsible for the majority of the regular chores. however, that should change if she is also going out and working; If you both work the same hours, then the household chores should be shared 50/50. If she only works a couple of days while the man works a full week then the chores should be more of a 75/25 with whichever chores the man is best at being done by him.
You can switch "man" and "woman" depending on who goes out to work.

Other than nursing a baby (breast feeding), there isn't a thing there that couldn't be done by the man of the house as well. Generally knitting is not a chore-it is a past time activity, but any of the other jobs could be done as well by a man if he would try. Most women work outside the home as well so need to have some sharing of responsibility for the housework.

I'm thinking you need to not assume certain jobs are for women only.... Sure some of us love the idea of being the cook, but in all honesty, it's nice to have a man cook for you once in a while and spoil you and I believe that if you're living with a woman, married to her, you take on half the chores.... It's not just woman chores, man bill payer...
I know guys who do all those things that you said (minus the nursing ... well nursing as in breastfeeding) and some of those things, they like doing... Some of those things you don't have a choice about, like dishes...eventually you have to do 'em like it or not.
If you're in a relationship and you live together, I truly believe that everything should be divided equally.

Well traditionally those could be considered "a woman's job," but nowadays all of the things you listed are done by men as well (I'm pretty sure that somewhere, there's even a man out there who knits - lol).
In my opinion, the only things that are 100% a woman's job are menstruating, giving birth and breastfeeding.

Really? I'm thinking more: washing dishes & ironing with your face, cooking your legs for the family, making you clean the house with your nails, make you sew with your eyelashes and knitting you to the wall.

I do all that stuff...and more...yard work ONLY because i like it and hubby hates it...I don't iron much, but I like to cook and even like doing the laundry. I also teach preschool part time and have two little kids...in addition to that many women do volunteer work at their children's schools and church. I do that too...my husband does a couple things...takes out the trash and gives the kids a bath...he has a super good job and works very hard at what he does. we get along fine here. However, these jobs should be shared...a partnership should be equal, including the work load...I believe ours evens out as my husband works until 8 or later often...so he is doing his share but in another way.
Oh...anything requiring car and car repairs...I prefer it if he takes care of that stuff...I absolutely HATE hanging around in repair shops!

I think everything can be equal, besides, of course, for the things that men aren't physically able to do such as child bearing and breastfeeding. But other than that I think men should share all the household responsabilities. Yes ladies, I am single LOL JK JK.

None because in this day and age women are staying at home less so they are not defined by or restricted to particular jobs and you stated above, because I know men that are fully capable of doing all the things you listen above, just as I know women who are soldiers and firefighters.
