i am asking because im going to get a sweater like a south pole one but i dont wanna be looking like a black. yes i know your lectures that it doesnt matter for whom it is designes but even if you deny it ,it does make a difference. im not one of those hyphy boys either. just trying to look clean but not one of thos black or white brands,, no offense... im just tired of seeing all those people who want to be black and i dont wanna mix in their crowd./one last thing i mean brand sweaters not flea market ones even though i do have some from there

Sounds to me like you need more than a sweater, maybe a change in attitude would be more appropriate. Once you do this I think you can find your own look without concern about looking like someone else. As I am sure that no one else is seeking to be like you, in style or attitude.

This time of year, I'd go with a nice, fine-guage heather (lamb's wool, cashmere) with a V-neck, and a darker shade crew-neck tee underneath. It won't matter what the brand is; it's the cut and fabric that matter.
