1st of all take care of yourself if you are still pg, if already in care of baby still take care of yourself as well as the baby. finish school if you can, see if the dad will help- after all it didnt just take you to make the baby! and if posible get an after school job it does help, are you still living with the rents, if so they could help out but take control of your body also, dont let guys pressure you into this situation again, cause i bet you didnt want to be a mom at such an early age right? well i know these things happen to people no and again, so you are not the only teen in the world with this problem. you may can get some assistance for a little while til you get your life in order i dont know try the gov. places life health dept, human resources dept, they can tell you more and help you more than anyone in yahoo answers ever can. also think about this there are 2 sets of grandparents yours and his that will probably want to be involved in all yalls lives so let them be it will help you out bunches. just dont totally rely on them, that will be selfish. have fun with being a mom and be responsible at what ever you do. good luck

My bestfriend, Erika, is 16 and got pregnant when she was 13 by her then 17 year old beau. She soon got a job when she turned 14 bussing tables at a local cafe that her aunt owned when she was 5 months pregnant. Her mother and father said if she could afford to support the baby and herself, they would let her keep the baby. Erika is now the manager at a store in the Mall and is the mom of precious 3 year old Kayli Lillian. And Erika doesn't regret having Kayli- but she does regret having sex because when Kayli was a baby she couldn't go to school- she had me and a few friends bring the work because she couldn't bring Kayli to the school. And it didn't help that Thomas bailed when she told him that she was pregnant. I'm Kayli's godmother and I agree with Alissa and Gregory (Erika's parents) as long as you can afford to support the children and yourself- then have the baby.

I had my daughter when i was a teen and a good thing to do is look for baby/play groups in your area. It helps to talk to other moms and pick up hints and arrange play dates etc My daughter is now 17 and I am still young enough to enjoy her so would do it all again in a flash!

well, being the mother of two and still 19 I would say I am very lucky. I hear about all these moms crying that they don't get sleep are tired and all that. Yes, my mom does come over about twice a week to help clean but so far the three of us are doing fine. The first few months were a bit harsh becuase I litterally would stay awake for 72 hours until my mom would come over to help, then I would sleep for 8 hours and another 72 hour shift. Thank god I was 16 when I had my first, I don't think I could handle it when i am 30.

preventing this is the first step.
you have made an adult decision to have sex and now you must deal with consequences. this means entering the world of adults. if you choose to keep the baby, this means finding a way to finish your education and learning to support you and the baby. look for resources in your area thru your school and your OB. take good care of you.
adoption is a choice that can make your life more meaningful. it will take a very selfless person to do it, though. if means giving the gift of a child to a family who cannot conceive on their own. it would mean giving you and your baby the best future.

Grow up and take responsibility! Finish school, get a job (I'm sure a family member would babysit for free) and help support yourself and the baby. We learn from our mistakes and also learn alot of things as we get older.
