I think the Russian policy at this time is to help the Enemies of America in the Middle East and else where with most sophisticated technology that was primarily developed after the first Iraq war just to destroy the present American Hardware.After 1990 they were upset and very angry at the west for attacking Serbia [Their Historic Allies] and NATO expansion and the New War in Iraq and Afghanistan.But one thing I can tell is that neither USA or Russia is interested in direct confrontation but more in the little proxy Wars.
