good question. it is probably not logical ,when you are dead you have no freedom(or total freedom, who knows),but it could be the right thing to do.particularly if your death leads to advances in freedom for your family,country,etc.

I strongly urge you to read Patric Henry's "GIVE ME LIBERTY OR GIVE ME DEATH" speech. it is very moving and hopefully can paint a mental picture for you of what it would mean to truly not have any freedom. Absolutely! Freedom is the basis for democratic fundamental rights and freedoms on which our based on! Freedom is always worth fighting for, no matter what generation is being suppressed and who is fighting for it! Without freedom, people lose their hearts- both physically and emotionally! Without freedom, faith, hope and love are lost and destroyed! It is freedom that allows us to promote our creativity, share our talents with others, and promote ourselves with the talents that we are born with. When this is taken away, we lose our hearts and ability to share with other people!
