maybe subconsciously you want to get pregnant but are scared to have a child so soon. the timing could be all wrong for you right now and your body is trying to tell you something.

Who knows maybe you subconsciously fear the labor process. :) I had several dreams that I got a + pregnancy test only to realize that all of them were negative. The one time I dreamed of having a - pregnancy test, it was a positive pregnancy test. I think my dreams were because of wanting a child so much and of not being ever have a baby. I think the negative test was because I was so afraid I would never be able to get pregnant. I had a feeling since around the time of conception I was pregnant, but I was so scared it would be another negative. I also dreamed that I had to go to the bathroom and didn't make it. :) I woke up and I needed to go pee and there wasn't any pee anywhere, but it was so weird. Sometimes we can also read to much into dreams. I'll see if I can find what pregnancy is supposed to indicate or your dream, but this is just my interpretation of things.

This is what this site says, but I think most of the dreams are in your subconscious.

Pregnant/Pregnancy
1. New life; creativity; new enterprises.
2. Revelation and inspiration;
3. The coming of spring; something new happening at the coming of spring

This is the closest I could come with the labor or having a baby
Birth
The birth of a human child is a universal symbol for good news, happiness, and/or a whole new life. The birth of twins or triplets indicates wealth. If the birth involved friendly animals such as dogs, cats, horses or dolphins, then allies who will be of great assistance to you soon surround you. The birth of scary animals, however, such as predators of all kinds, indicates the opposite: Your adversaries are gaining ground and you need to strengthen your resources.

I would say that these are probably not exactly what they would actually mean, but I think even though you are not trying to get pregnant, fears and other things can pop up.

Most women have dreams of giving birth at one point or another... they're kind of like anxiety dreams, but different. When I was in my late teens I started having dreams about giving birth and either A. the baby was a dog (literally), or B. I was a terrible mother and would lose the baby or drop it. The dream of birth is an awareness of your ability to give birth floating around in your subconcious. If you then take care of the baby, especially in a poor way, that signifies your trepidation about accepting responsibility.

Pregnancy - A dream in which you are pregnant can reflect either your desire for a child or your fear of falling pregnant. More symbolically, a dream of pregnancy may symbolise any new project or area of your life that is opening to change or growth. For example, it may suggest that you are about to give birth to a creative project or idea.

Birth - Giving birth in a dream is generally a positive image, suggesting new beginnings or the start of a project, in which you feel 'reborn'. If the birth is very difficult, it may reflect your fear of difficulties to be overcome.

If I am not mistaken baby dreams or births mean death. NOT that YOU will die or even a loved one but someone you know. I think that I learned that in psychology in college. Sorry ... lol

It means you have to stop eating whatever it is you had before going to bed when you have those dreams.
