I love black history month, because I am African/American. How come some of you people are saying you want Black history removed, well at least black people have a month, so all the White people that don't appreciate that, to bad.

I don't know how to answer that. I also African American too. Don't let people say something like that. Some Whites folks have respect on Black History month. People said it's suppose to be Black History everyday.

Sorry I am going to be insulting but not with any malice aforethought. I would perhaps like to see a Black History Month. This would consist of some gory and nasty bits of human history. I do not mean black in the sense you are using it. Good luck. COULD PEOPLE PLEASE ENABLE EMAILING AS THERE were SO MANY CHUCKLING ANSWERS HERE AND I COULDN'T SHOW MY APPRECIATION. look at all these comments from these DUMB ASSES!!!!! this is why we have to have a month because ******* like these would rather see us hung from a tree! sorry to say but alot of you white people are very ignorant and evil! i see your not much different from your ancestors! we've come this far and we will get farther so deal with it :)
i think that some black people dont like it because they feel that they only get 1 month and it should be studied and recognized year round (like european history in school) they leave alot of our history out in grade school so people think it should be more of a diverse curriculum. i my self appreciate the month but also thinks it should be more recognized in history books because they leave alot out. i learned so much going to college and taking a few african american classes. for those who dont care or never wnat to know real history, let them rott in thier own ignorance. because our history is also thiers.

I don't know why they would want Black History month removed. There are plenty of holidays and months that celebrate White History also. But those are usually the racists who want it removed.
