It seem like I heard that you can't buy them outright; you have to lease them so only their Techs can do the maint. and other sundry activities.

I'm pretty sure you'll need several million for a Cray. The usual customers are government science labs.

Not sure that there are many games written for Crays.

If you have to ask, you can't afford it.

It's not something you can just pick up on eBay (I looked, all I could find were swag, plus one auction for a cpu and memory). I actually couldn't find a decent legit-looking place that was selling an intact Cray. This is something that you'd contract out through a major reseller; they in turn would most likely try to upsell you to something fairly modern.
