I'm doing a research project for school and I need to include a fiction book on Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream. I'm wondering if it's a ficton book or non-fiction book.....so please answer.

Look on the CIP page -- that's the one at the beginning with the publisher and copyright info. It's also where libraries get information for cataloging the books.

If it lists subject headings, like 1. Ice cream manufacturers without the word "fiction" following them, then it is non-fiction. Also, you can check out the Dewey/LC call number. This is a series of numbers toward the bottom of the page that are the suggested call number for the book. LC call number start with one or two letters, followed by numbers. Fiction books always start with "P". A Dewey number is a three digit number that may or may not be followed by a decimal. 363 or 363.975 for example. If a book has a Dewey number, it is non-fiction. Fiction doesn't get a Dewey number.

Oh write about them contributing to terrorist groups if you like stirring the pot. Thats why some people I know won't even look at their ice cream. That would be FICTION!!!

It looks like non-fiction to me, although that doesn't mean it's entirely true.
