Really depends on you man. If your larger in that area, some guys feel they need to wear briefs. I prefer boxer briefs myself. Keeps everything right where I want it!!!

boxers are more comfy cause you can let it all hang out.
boxer briefs are sexy cause they emphasize the package. they can be constricting and build up the body heat in the groin.
commando is nice, but careful when zipping your pants.

I would have to say boxers are better. I say go for the cotton boxers, they are soft and loose fitting, they don't pinch and are sill very sexy from a woman's point of view.
