I work in distribution, my job is supposed to be a very fast paced job. But I am looking more for a career I guess or a job I am in love with...I didn't go to school because no one in my family has the money, and I have been working since I was 14 years old to support my own things, I didn't ever get help from Mommy and Daddy. When I am at work, all I think about is what else I can be doing with my life...where I could start a career? where near home is hiring? Will I ever get a a career? I think about a lot during the day. Plus recently they took a day away from my days off because the work load is so heavy which means I will be working 5 10 hour shifts...so much for one of my days to look for another job(career). Ive even thought about working from home, but can never find anything ligament and worthwhile to even do it. If this answers some of your guy's questions.

You're probably not alone. There are others who are also too immature and irresponsible to keep a job for very long. Most of them are in prison or on welfare. Now grow up and get back to work.

NO
not at all
fortunately you are young enough to be okay...
mom and dad can fill in and pay your bills while you 'find yourself'.

it is not a real problem until you get older and have REAL responsibilities.
when your choices are boredom and homelessness, the boredom will be a no brainer and you will at least wait to quit the current job until you can secure more exciting work.

You can also solve this problem by obtaining a career as opposed to just having a job!
but then again you probably have not accquired the discipline to stay in school long enough to complete any worthwhile degree....

Next time you get to feeling that way, try calling in sick and visiting a soup kitchen.
That visit should buy you some motivation and help you to develop some maturity

You're like me; I did modeling for a while but did not approve of the lifestyle and the associations in that line of work. I have worked for the State, law firms, and the like, but I did get too bored too fast. So I told myself "I need to make a drastic change" and then I went into business for myself. Now I call the shots and I love my work, but at times I get a bit burnt out, so I just introduce another division to my corporation and roll with that for a while.

When I get a little bored with that, I envision another division, another business venture within my corporation and roll with that. Then I go back and forth between division and make good money, but I always call the shots and the best thing about America where business is concerned is that it's "Free Enterprise" [as long as it's legal, you know...].

Think of something you like doing and make a business plan...doesn't have to be a fancy plan but organized so you will know how to launch your ideas and business concept. Work with it, and know that there will trial and error until you pretty much perfect it. When that's so-called "perfected" start a new branch or division of your corporation and roll with that.

I think it's something like $50 bucks to open a corporation in your state or you can migrate to other states as well as a foreign company/corporation.

You call the shots, you charge the fee for your work and it can only open more doors for you. Concentrate on you and what you want...not racing from boring job to boring job.

Enlighten you!

Hope this helps.

No, jobs take endurance and the will to succeed. I do not know your age nor the job so this is hard to answer.
u have to be a hardworker and finisher to hold a job.
Maybe, when the wages go up, so will your willpower~!

I had to work once for 2 an hour, no tips, and min wage wage was 2.35---=-but it made ends meet, food on the table-that was high school. I really wish u good luck! Life gets tough sometimes! I want everyone to have it easy.

Job's aren't always about fun. If you don't need the money to survive, it won't hurt to job hop until you find something you enjoy. You will get new experiences and absolutely know what DOESN'T work for you.
If you desperately need the money, then you might have to learn not to be bored...distract your mind...and think about things that you would rather be doing or other jobs you might like to try next.

Have you ever thought of doing temp work? You may even find a more stable job that you love, and stick with it, by doing this...do you have hobbies that you could turn into part-time jobs...If someone has a need, there is a job opportunity there...

Hey, I don't know if you have had this done, but have you checked with your doctor to see if you may have some sort of attention deficit or hyperactivity problem. Lots of adults have this problem and are incapable of holding a job for the long-term.

My brother and I are jobhoppers. Its not that we got bored quickly. Its because there are better opportunities elsewhere.
Gone are the days when you stick to one job only. You have to go for better opportunities whether in your own country or overseas.
My advise is that before you jobhop, you have to plan for your next step and go for a job that you will enjoy the most.
