I have shopped at thrift stores. Some people are so stupid. They would rather pay 150 dollars for a pair of pre ripped pre-bleach stained pants than go get a pair of good barely worn pants from the thrift store.

I think people who shop at thrift stores and such are smart. Why pay $50+ for an article of clothing when you can find something just as nice, and in many instances, a popular brand, for just a few bucks? Growing up, I wasnt too fond of the idea of going to such places with my mother, whom I have dubbed the Queen of Thrift because she has like 200 pairs of pants and just as many shirts if not more... the woman has a closet, dressers, numerous totes full of clothes, with a good 80% of them coming from thrift shops. Anyhow, I also now enjoy a good look around in those types of stores on occasion. You never know what you're going to find... a Tommy shirt, an amazing pair of jeans that fit you perfectly from a company you've never heard of, or even some little trinket... and all of it for such low prices. It's great.

I love them, where I live every Wednesday is family day and all clothes are half off! I think people who shop at thrift stores are smart, especially if you have kids. I refuse to spend 20 bucks on a pair of jeans my daughter will only wear for a months, i'd rather spend 2 or 3 bucks.

Now this may awaken truly some human beings or a minimum of shatter the parable that those places are run to help. sure those places get large donations and as for an section for a good deal again you're properly desirable on condition that a reliable merchandise receives donated the boss receives first %.. even if it truly is even seen by technique of him/her! The overhead on those shops is low and help is paid minimum salary so in case you want to understand who's cleansing up check out the hot vehicle the director is driving. No it truly is no longer a Caddy it truly is a Lexus and the living house they stay in became likely donated. Yea they actually have a 30 day go back coverage. yet if a one hundred dollar merchandise breaks down who receives screwed? The disabled man or woman who spent reliable funds on junk. save in ideas the genuine reliable belongings you'll in no way see! sure i wager it truly is more suitable positive than no longer something in reality don't be fooled!

Some Thrift shops are super awesome! like in SanFransisco.
you could get some really cool things.
Like i'm sure you've noticed....
It's really cool when people get clothes or something from a thrift shop and either add designs or change it around a little to make it their own.
For most girls i think that's what thrift shopping is all about =)
and sounds like you got a good deal.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with shopping at a thrift store. Why would anyone look down on you for that ? If they did, then you are associating with the wrong people. Hey, get a bargain and save some money wherever you can. I love to shop anywhere where there are good bargains. Keep shopping !

No way do I look down on those who shop at thrift stores. I do myself. They are a great place to find some super deals and sharp outfits.

You can also find household items for a fraction of the cost of regular retail.

Sounds as though you know how to shop.

Good for you.
