I think there should a law saying that anybody who has sex with a minor (under 18 ) goes to jail, no matter what his age/her age is. The present law says that if you are 19, you go jail, but if you are 17, it is ok for you to have sex with anybody. That I think is stupid ! What do you say ?

False, a 17 year old can not have sex with someone under 13.

In Michigan the law states one must be 16. If you are 15 and have sex with a 17 year old you are in trouble. ( That is the 17 year old is in trouble.)

No, I'm sorry. I don't think that law makes much sense. What would be the benefit to jailing a teenager for having sex with another teenager? Is this your sneaky way of saying all age of consent laws are wrong?

when you was 18 having sex with your 16 year old girl friend I bet you didn't think this way. so if we go along with your way of thinking then I guess you are going to prison because in any of those type of cases there is no statute of limitations.

I don't think that teenagers should go to jail for having sex with each other.

For one i don't think it's right that they don't do anything will the girls sometimes,in some case.All young teen age girls have been known to lie about their age one time are another.In that case when they lie and are giving it up on their own because they are wanting to do it.Do you think it is right for just the guy to get in trouble and ruin his life?And she still out there giving it up,to ruin some one else life again.
