Is it child abuse when a parent gets so angry they refuse to speak to a child for days at a time although they provide for the child's basic needs such as food and shelter?
Are threats made to a child but never fulfilled considered child abuse? Such as if I hit you, I'd probably kill you.
Is it child abuse to deny a child the permission to play outdoors from the ages 11 through 16?
Is it child abuse to not get a child that is exhibiting signs of epilepsy seen by a doctor?

abuse is not just physical. there is emotional, psychological, & sexual abuse as well as neglect. Not getting proper medical care for a child when there's an obvious problem is considered neglect. If you or someone you know falls under any of these catagories, please get help! Sometimes one type of abuse can lead to another.

Animal abuse is worse because of the fact babies have instructors and an excellent style of alternative adults to talk to. they have a voice that their determining directly to not use. collectively as animals cant talk and maximum probable have not got any thank you to end it. A canines cant stroll right into a police station and document a record yet a new child can. they're the two undesirable yet animal abuse is extra severe.

It sounds like there are signs of some emotional abuse, but the playing outside, no not abuse at all. If you concerns valid, BTW, call an agency for family services. But to be honest with you it does kinda sound a little like looking for reasons to call.

I'd say all the stuff in the first parts, no. Maybe that epilepsy thing should be looked into.

If this is truly what is happening then YES it is abuse. If you are a meddling mother-in-law and you are exaggerating... then YOU are the abuser.
