Well, yes, I'd say too it starts with picking what animal, and that will tell you what problems that animal has to deal with. Based on where you live, you might want to look for endangered animals in your area, or at least in your country.

I think the key to the letter is:

1. Identify what animal you are and say a bit about it.
2. Tell us why you are in danger -- what is happening that puts you at risk.
3. Be specific in telling what people are doing that puts you in danger, are they logging, dumping chemicals in your water supply, is global warming affecting where you live?
4. Tell us what will happen to you if the danger does not stop.
5. Tell us what people could do to stop the danger.

For example:

Dear People of the World:

I am a polar bear, and I live in the beautiful northern part of our world that is known as the North Pole. The places where I spend most of my time on frozen sea ice in the Arctic. I hunt for seal and for fish. I love living here, but now, because of people, my life is in danger.

People are contributing to the warming of the earth. This is because of pollution that comes from factories, cars, even jets and military actions like the bombings in Iraq. Some scientists say that the world is warmer now because of people.

When the world warms up, the ice melts. Because I live on the ice, and that is my home, this means my home is shrinking. The food I eat is moving away to other places. I am losing my home and my food supply, and my fellow polar bears are dying. Soon, I will die too.

You can help stop this problem. You can ask for better and different fuels that don't make pollution. You can ask your government to pass laws that make companies stop putting pollution in the air. If you own a company, you can make sure your company is responsible with waste products. You can help to stop global warming.

If you don't do this, I will die. I know I am only a polar bear, but when I die, it will change the face of the world. In time, those changes will even affect you. So, you are not just helping me, you are helping yourselves by saving your own future.

Won't you help?

Or, you know, something along those lines.

Hopefully, that gives you a good start! I'm not sure what grade level you are in, so if that sounds too simple, just make it more complicated, add in more facts, etc. I think that's a pretty good outline work with though.

Good luck!

This doesn't seem like too hard of a question... use your imagination. First, decide what kind of animal you would want to be. Choose an animal you like or that you know a lot about. Then think of the problems that are facing this animal. What would YOU do to protect this animal? How would you feel if it were happening to you? Try to appeal to people's emotions and their sense of reason.

You should probably do some research before you start this since you may find something that will help you support the points that you make. Don't forget to cite your sources!

You could try searching endangered species to find an animal affected by enviromental or climate change. I am guessing there would be more information available about specific changes that are affecting endangered species that just picking an animal off the top of your head. Hope that helps : )

Matthew 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

Matthew 6:26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

Your essay: "We don't need you, God will provide."

I can't believe their teaching this malarky in school now. :(

First you have to have an idea as to what wild animal you are going to be, then go to wikipedia and learn about that animal and go from there.
