Yes. Because the eyes are by far the most subtle yet expressive part of the human body. They are also the most noticable because their coloration is usually seperate from the rest of the body just like the soul is seperate from the living organs.
They always give way to how a person is feeling, and sometimes what they are thinking, or what they are going to do next. Eyes can tell a lot about a person.
So yes. I suppose you could say the eyes are windows into the human soul. Unless, of couse they are like mud. (not refering to anyone with brown eyes) Some people have the ability to seperate their emotions from their eyes so that their inner thoughts are undecipherable. It is a great skill that could save your life, or a terrible ability that could have you locked off from the world.
Honest, they're the first thing i notice about a person and the last thing i forget. They are more than windows to the soul, they are open doors to the inner persona.

There have been times when I looked into someones eyes.. and got a bad feeling ...I didn't like what I saw...I do believe that : "the eyes are the window to our soul"....The eyes can tell a lot. :)

Yep. But I'm a romantic idiot.
What's really frightening is when you look into someones eyes and sense a void, nothingness. Seen it once or twice and it throws a shiver down my back.
What's really beautiful is seeing someone whose eyes display a sense of complete utter contentment/joy. Both times I've noticed that look, I've found that these people were spiritually complete. Always envy it.
But the best is when someone you love gives that look... an opening to their soul; complete trust and love... usually at an intimate moment. Those moments are burned into my memory.

Only if you follow such a pattern that says we have a soul and that somehow our eyeballs have some kind of particular connection to it. Let's see...infinite patterns to employ in our conscious state and you have, for some reason, narrowed it down to about 3 possibilities.
1. That we think
2. Our eyes see or hold special powers
3. Someone has a soul
Seems so limited, doesn't it? But, very popular.

yes, when you look into someones eyes it is impossible for them to hide the truth so i guess that means you are connecting with their innermost thoughts, feelings and being, in other words access to their soul

I think so. I have been fooled by a couple of people, I was completely devastated. The eyes are my favorite feature on everyone!

good question. I think eyes tell alot about people and they can express your feelings. Eyes are the one thing you look into and can tell who they are and what is up. that's atleast what i think
