There are still quite a few weak holders hanging on by their fingernails. We will need to get rid of them first. Remember last May when the market had its previous correction. Took about a month. I would not expect this one to require less time. May require more time.

If Macy's was having a sale, would you say, "Oh, I'll stay away. I'll wait until the prices go back up?" That's all this is: it gets rid of people who think they can time the market. Invest in solid stocks that pay a dividend, and don't keep watching every day. It doesn't matter what the price does while you hold it, only what it is when you buy and sell it. With a dividend, you make money while you're holding it, and you get stable companies that can afford to pay a dividend.

fact is this mess will not settle in less than a week, anyone buying or selling on monday is asking to lose money
