Im on a cheer team and my team doesnt get along. because of this, my team doesnt bother working making winning competitions impossible. They talk behind each others backs because cliques have now formed on my team. a lot of people arent returning next year so i can start fresh with a new team. How do i prevent a situation like this happening again?

I would suggest talking with the team coach and letting him/her know your thoughts. If other members of the cheer team share your feelings, you should go to the coach in a group. Also, you might want to put this item onto your school's PTA group's agenda since parents are often very interested in their childrens' activities and ways to improve them (both classes and other activities). Or, you could come up with a cheer to get your message across, like, "Gimme a C! Gimme an R! Gimme an A! Gimme a B! What have we got? We got CRABS!" That should wake up somebody! Good luck to you and your team.
