A home pregnancy test is a test that reacts to a certain concentration of pregnancy hormone (HGC) in the urine to give a positive result. Many normal, healthy pregnancies are not, in the early stages, detectable by these urine tests for reasons that are not entirely clear. If you want a definitive answer, a blood test can resolve the issue for sure. Hang in there!

It's possible.

Are you charting your fertility signs or at least your temperature? If you are charting your temp and you have 18 high temps after ovulation, you are almost certainly pregnant. Rarely, a corpus luteum cyst can also cause an extended luteal phase.

If you are certain of ovulation, give it a few more days and test again. If you were using OPKs, it's possible you didn't ovulate when you thought you did (b/c there can sometimes be a surge of LH that is not followed by ovulation...so you get a + OPK but don't actually ovulate until a later time).

Sometimes the hcg is not built up enough in your system so urine tests come out neg....if you want to know for sure the best way is to have a blood test done....at this point it would be very accurate and let you know either way.....Good Luck!

Hm.... why dont you buy a couple more, and take it in a couple of days. Or just go get a blood test. Goodluck and I hope you get what you want!
