Good question.

And for my answer, no, not quite.

It would be hard for me to explain what people see about my personality when they look at my physical appearance, seeing as I can't go into people's thoughts. But when I meet people, they usually assume that I'm the type that listens to Britney Spears, bosses people around, and has dirt underneath my fingernails. (I like keeping my cuticles neat and tidy, thank you very much.) I guess the way I present myself to others doesn't help too much on first impressions. I could do better. But a lot of things having to do with my physical appearance isn't my fault. Many people have many different thoughts about what I really might be like--but seeing as how they took no guilt in telling me in excruciating details, I've become sort of like a chameleon. I tend to stay with the type of first impression I make in front of a person.

And that's why there is a 'quite' in my answer. I have glasses and these God for saken braces. Yes, I am nerdy, but if I can be a little rebellious and say so myself, that IS part of 'me'. I AM bookish and I AM smart, if my ego isn't being too inflated here.

I think it's somewhat nice that people can't tell who I am when they look at me. It's another way of telling the world not to make assumptions so quickly. I hate those "emo" kids...they display all of their "sorrow" in their studded belts and black nailpolish, when in truth they have no idea how many people die from sickness and hunger each day. Thank you for asking this question...it makes me feel happy with myself the tiniest bit, which is enough to hold me up for now.

[edit] Haha, I just read this over and realized this makes NO freaking sense...ah well.

That is a wuestion no body can really answer. Some people can just look at you and say "Oh,They Are Ugly" or "They Dress funny" or something like that, but you can only really get to know somebody if you take the time to get to know them and listen tot hem. Becasue If you listen Carefully they might tell you why they look the way they do. For Example, I know sombody who is not very pretty, she is not very skinny, she has ratty hair, and nobody would be her friend. One Day there was nowhere to sit, so i sat with her and i got to know her. and she is a really funny persona dn she is a great lisener. She doesn't go on and on about herself, she lets you have a chance to talk. She is now my best friend and when we walk by th "Popular" people, they laugh and so do we. Because we really don't care what people think.
So, no, Don't Judge a book by it's Cover.

If it does, then I must feel great! Seriously, though, I think it does. When I'm in an out there kind of mood, I dress to be noticed. When I'd rather be left be, I'll dress conservatively. If I'm feeling pumped and ready to run around like an idiot, I'll dress sporty. Well, you get the idea. Conversely, if I *want* to feel a certain way, I'll dress the part and sooner or later the way I feel lines up with the way I look. Great question. :)

No. No one could look at you and just know right then and there just how you are. Some one might look mean but could be really nice. Oh and sometimes by your apperance you could tell a person what you've been doing lately. Like after you cried for a long time, people could see your puffy eyes. After you take a shower your hair probably looks all wet, stringy, or thin unless you have thick hair like me. But you could never know all about some one by their looks.

I took that a different way:

I've always had problem hair. On the few occasions that I (or a professional) can get it looking decent, I feel great--like it's a new me! It seems that more people talk to me, and it's just a really happy day.

Yes like if my eyes are red and watering im either about to cry or i just yawned cause im bored tired. If there are wrinkles in my forhead i'm either confused or thinking your weird. If my face is red I'm either embarrassed or hot. So Most of the time yes other times I have to fake it or I just fake it.

You can look into my mouth and you'll find a smile wether i'm crying on the inside... but you can always look into my eyes and see the truth in my heart.

I asked a similar Q once. I think so! My smile lines show that I smile a lot and am generally happy.
