I used to have the same problem.
We were best friends and I had the biggest crush on him. I liked him soo much it hurt.
Then one day I told him and he got all mad at me. And then we didn't even look at eachother for like two weeks. But we're like friends and all. Like, if you told him, he might be all weirded out because you are such good friends, and most likely ya'll wont become a couple because "he doesn't want the friendship to go away if ya'll break up.." atleast, that's what he told me.
I'm not saying that's the same for everyone, but that's just what happened to me.
Just to save you some time, don't tell him. But that's just me... But HEY! Who knows? Maybe he likes you back, and is just waiting for you to tell him. Boys are so confusing, hm.

First off I've been in this situation and you have to ask your self this question are you really willing to risk a friendship on something that might not even work out.If so then just say I really hope this doesn't hurt our friendship but I'm starting to have feelings for you,and ask him if he feels the same. I know it's hard but it's better to just get it all out in the open then to go the rest of your life wondering what if.

This situation happened to me when i was in my junior yr of school. My best friend was a guy and we were friends for eternity. Then it was almost out of no where i began developing deep true feelings for him. I finally got up the nerve to tell him how i felt and to my complete and utter shock the only words from his mouth were " I am in-love with you."
We both just stood there speachless, then he kissed me. I will never forget that.. I will never regret admitting my feelings for him.
As it may not go this well for you, because i do not know the full circumstances of your situation, but i honestly think that if I would have never told him, I would have regreted it for the rest of my life. And i think if it had turned out differently, maybe he did not feel the same way. I still would have been alright with my decision to tell him. I think the only thing to do is be honest with him and yourself.

iuf he is your best friend you should just sit down and let him know how you feel. Say that although you think you might be starting to like him if he doesnt feel the same you should just stay friends
