The religious right like the innocent little children Bush saved with his anti-abortion stance more so than they like Bush. Your blasphemy is only an insult, if one choose to accept it as such. Bush is not looked upon as a religious icon, he is a man, as flawed as any other man. But when a frail and flawed man admits he calls on the same God you do, you form a connection with that man. Even the religious right must by now realize the folly of the man George W. Bush.
The fact that abortion is the murder of unborn children is enough to cause the majority of the religious right to consider Bush the lesser or two evils. All other issues take a back seat to that one, and it is why Bush will always have their support.

I am conservitive and I do not put President Bush up there with God!
He is just a man, a man that is trying his best to run this country to the best of his ability and do what he is let do!
Every thing isn't run by him and him alone....

I don't think the religious right is as crazy about him as they were....He pandered to them to get elected and then thumbed his nose at 'em....He was too busy planning the invasion of Iraq.....
