I haven't had any complaints with any of the actors they've picked for the students. Draco, Neville, the Twins, and (judging from the previews) Luna are all spot-on, IMO. Ginny hasn't been given much to do yet, but hopefully with her character's role expanding in the second half of the series the actress will be up to the task - she's the only supporting character I have any concerns about, though, and that only because she hasn't been tested yet, not because she's done anything wrong so far.
As for the leads, after the first two movies I thought that if they were going to do any recasting of the trio that Dan was the most expendable, simply because Harry didn't do much under Columbus' direction except react to what the script threw at him - it was Rupert and Emma who were really providing the character energy. After these last two movies, however, under new directors that actually gave him room to act, I've completely reversed my opinion and now think that Dan is the most irreplaceable of the three (and I saw today that he's now officially signed on for 6 and 7, which I'm happy about). I really hope all three of them stay on for all seven movies, though - it would kill the continuity to have to make a change now.
Moving on to the adults, again I think most of them have been perfectly cast. Rickman was born to play Snape, I love Maggie Smith's McGonagall, Griffiths and Shaw are perfectly horrible as the Dursleys, and every time I see Robbie Coltrane in other roles now I wonder where his beard is! The only one I think is "off" is Dumbledore, and it seems like he's been off the whole series. I don't think either Harris or Gambon has managed to get him quite right (Harris didn't have enough energy, Gambon has too much), and it's probably because both of them refused to read the books. If he hadn't been thoroughly sick of playing wizards after LOTR, it would've been cool to see what Ian McKellen could do with the part. Out of the names who were seriously discussed after Harris died, though, I was really hoping Peter O'Toole would get it. I bet he would've made a fantastic Dumbledore! I can't complain about any of the other characters, though - Dumbledore's the only one who's ever jolted me out of the movie by being badly OOC.
PS: if any HP casting people happen to read this thread, get Brian Blessed to play Slughorn in the next movie - with his big belly and booming voice, he'd be perfect for it! I'd like to see Richard Briers get a part too. He would've made a great Mundungus Fletcher, but since that character's been cut, I'm not sure what's left that would be good for him. Maybe Scrimgeour...

While I don't like Daniel Radcliffe much he is quite a good actor and anyway he is returning for the last 2 movies. Rupert Grint plays Ron as a half-witted idiot while the real Ron is funny . Also Emma Watson is much too pretty and model-like to play the bossy know-all Hermione. And Ginny is not pretty enough.
While Gary Oldman is a good actor he is not good looking enough to play Sirius Black ( I know his looks deteriorated after Azkaban but he still retained' "vestiges of great beauty" ). David Thewlis is clownish and a far cry from the cool Professor Lupin.
Overall the books are far superior to the movies. Sorry but according to my opinion the actors of the Harry Potter series are NOT that great.

I definitely think that Dumbledore should have had a different actor after Richard Harris passed away. Richard Harris was the total embodiment of how most people imagine Dumbledore to be.
The latest actor, Michael Gambon, does not do the character justice. He looks more like a tramp than a wizard.

None of them should leave the series.
There's no way Daniel Radciffe could not now play Harry Potter for all 7 films, and he's signed up for the other two.
Hermione is irritating, Ron is a bit stupid, Harry is hapless about any goings on the wizard world, but by the 7th film all will be explained.
I think the characterisations are brilliant in the films, the only one that really annoys me is Hagrid.

I think they are all really good for their parts. The only person I would give the boot to is that girl that Harry likes in Harry Potter and the the Golblet of Fire. I just don't like her, I don't think she is a good actress.

I think they are all very good, i have read all the books and all the actors have captured the characters as JK wrote them. It is odd how we have watched them all grow up, they showed a clip of Daniel Radcliffe on the news regarding his stage play, when they showed him in a still from the first HP movie, it was weird. Looking forward to the next film.

i imagine they are going to nevertheless be able to drag it off. relies upon upon how lengthy it takes them to make something of the films. Many actors play characters that are plenty youthful than they are. i does no longer opt for to observe something of the films if the significant characters weren't in it. It replaced into hard for me to confirm a sparkling actor at the same time as they had to interchange Richard Harris after his lack of existence. I nevertheless am no longer bought on the recent Dumbledore because Richard Harris replaced into precisely how I had pictured Dumbledore. It merely does no longer be a similar after this many videos to confirm a sparkling trio of actors.

I think Dan, Rupert and Emma are great... Dan has really grown on me (I didn't like him in the beginning- I didn't think he could act that well... but he has improved a lot now)...
Is it just me who was surprised by David Thewlis playing Lupin?... cos he is nothing like how I imagined Lupin to be... Maybe my imagination is rubbish... lol...
I love Alan Rickman and Jason Isaacs as Severus Snape and Lucius Malfoy respectively... but then again I might be biased cos I love the two actors anyway!...
Luna seems great as well- well what I've seen of her anyway... I'm looking forward to seeing her- I think Evanna will capture Luna's personality perfectly!...
The rest of the cast are great... there isn't really anyone I can think who is bad...
