I would attach a TENS unit so it delivered a voltage across my diaphram and link it into a slow ocillator. Instant hiccups.

TENS is Transdermal Electrical Neuro Stimulation by the way. Used to induce muscle contraction, used in physical therapy and sometimes sold as an exercise device- see Abdominizer.

Hiccups are caused from having trapped gas in your esophagus (the passageway to the stomach). Sometimes when you burp or belch you can get air trapped there causing you to get hiccups. So try burping.

I found that whenever I get hiccups, I tighten the muscles in my stomach and chest and turn the hiccup into a burp. No more hiccups. It's such an automatic response to me now that the most hiccups I ever get in a row is 1.

I wouldn't want the hiccups but if you have a sober driver your local watering hole would be a good place to get a case of the hiccups. I don't recommend this solution.
