I can see the eyelash its poking the area where the tears come from. It is so irritating, is there anyway I can get it to move, I can see it, what would a doctor do for this?

I don't want to pluck it because like I said its right next to the tear duct, and its on the lower lid

Grasp it with a tweezer, hold you eyelid tight and pull it out. It's not going to be pleasant. It will hurt when you tweeze it but you'll feel better in a few minutes. I've done it before

Pluck it, what do you think the doctor is going to do??? Clean your tweezers with alcohol and after the tweezers dry pluck it out, it won't hurt for long and if you keep messing with it you could possibly infect it yourself with continuted pulling, pushing and tugging at it with potentially dirty hands.... You could try a warm compress, that is what the doctors have suggested for plugged tear ducts in the past for me when they have gotten blocked and bulged...

I would not wait. I would go to the ER. I had the same thing. I couldn't get it out. It ended up scratching my cornea. You want to know pain? I thought I was going to die or I was blind. When that happens you can't just "pluck it out". I know it sounds stupid but you need a doctor's help. They will give you medicine to put in the eye too. It is so easy to get an eye infection.

you don't need a doctor, just use a tweezer and yank it out. It'll hurt a little, but no biggie. I have done it lots of times when an eyelash gets twisted the wrong way. A magnifying mirror and a steady hand helps.

What I do is take a lighter and put it up to my eye and burn all my eyelashes. Works every time!

my sister had the same problem

the doctor sent her to the emergency room because she also couldnt get it out.

im not sure how the emergency room managed to remove the eyelash.

and to some other ppl who answered...i know it sounds silly but its actually very serious if you dont get it removed. it will just get worse. its not a doctors waste of time

if it will not budge, get some sharp scisors, like cuticle scisors or some like that. you can get them where you find nail clippers and tweezers. carefully cut the hair as close to the skin as you can. that will fix it temporarally.
