I always include "the table on which we will eat and the materials from which it is made" when I say Grace.

I was taught good manners at the table while in Officer Training School...that is before I dropped out...

Yup. My parents taught me table manners when I was 5 years old and never thought they would come in handy. Whelp, now I'm having dinner with people that I work with and it does come in handy.

Very good. My grandmother would hit me every time my shoulder came anywhere near the table. My in laws were very impressed the first time I ate with them.
