There was a monk named Chaitanya Mahaprabu who worshipped Vishnu-Krishna. Whoever says his name or the name GAURANGA referring to him is said to be blessed with fortune and happiness... I think gauranga refers to the monk's complexion, a fair and gold-like glow.
