You are the most fertile after you have given birth. I don't know if the breast feeding ups your odds, but I would be very careful in your sex practices while you are breast feeding. You should also ask the doc if taking the pill would be wise while breast feeding. If you want to be safe, use a condom in combination of birth control.

You'd better make sure that breast feeding is ok on the pills. If the dosage is lower to make it safe for breastfeeding, your chances of pregnancy go up (along with associated birth defects if you do get pregnant). Why not make him wear a rain coat if you don't want another baby right now? No matter what he says, he'll take that punanny with a wrap if he has to.

I think the pill messes up the breast milk. Stop it until you tell the doctor. The baby may be suffering .

As far as I know there is only one type of birth control you can use while nursing at least that is what I am was told. So if it is the same kind, they told me it was only 75% safe, 25% fail. So good luck.
