call your local law enforcement offices. Many give u 15 credit hours free the second year. You take a civil service, lie detector and a few other tests. Some places u can be up to 50 years old.
Uniforms and equipment paid/. In this state, starting salary is 29,000. Benefits include a nice vacation time among lots of other
benefits. Call the city u wish to work for.
Pay, i think goes up with college. Good luck, and I love police officers.
At this time and period, please do not join military! U can not police with missing body parts.
A lot of ads will be run in your local paper for jobs including this one.

Go to your local government offices. They should have lots of information on civil service exams for the law enforcement area. Also, try government websites to see what is being offered and where if you consider moving. Border Patrol is pretty good money if you are willing to relocate?

depends on what branch youre looking to get into. Most PD's dont even require a degree in CJ. The Fed will accept almost anyone with a degree.

Most importantly though is to...
-stay out of debt
-stay out of trouble (at least as far as felonies are concerned)
-say no to drugs (or stop doing them, most PDs require you to be off of 'light drugs' like marijuana for at least 2-5 yrs, and they will polygraph you)
-make yourself look as smart and as stable as possible on paper.
