well hon, you have time to learn and will realize "the difference".
But here is what I suggest, girl to girl..
Fingers can be fun, but rubbing too much can hurt even the young.
You are more apt to breaking the hymen on a bike then you are with finger fun!

You should be able to do either. If you insert your fingers, you may stretch or tear your hymen, but that isn't really a problem. I don't think it feels any different after losing my virginity.
