is a epiphone Les Paul a good guitar? I mean is it worth buying?

I know it all depends on the type of music i choose to play, but i would like to play music similar to Tv on the Radio. I know that Kyp Malone plays a Gibson les paul, so epiphone Les Paul would be perfect right?

Les Paul is a style of guitar. Epiphone is the bargain brand of Gibson. Gibson Les Pauls are over $1000 and an Epiphone should be under $500.

That said there is nothing wrong with and Epiphone Les Paul. It will play rock just fine.

I thought Epiphone and Les Paul were two different models (both made by Gibson, sort of like General Motors makes both Chevrolet and Cadillac). But each one has a good reputation, so if you've got the dough, GO FOR IT!!!!!

well heck yeah , specially a genuine original

"As a result, over the years, authentic 1950s Les Pauls have become some of the most desirable and expensive electric guitars in the world. In fact, in re-sale today, a 1959 Les Paul in good condition can be easily priced between $100,000 and $500,000."
