My husbabnd and I have been trying to fall pregnant again for 8 months last week I found out I was pregnant yay!! But last night I started bleeding bright blood and having severe abdominal pain in my lower right side!! I went to emergency and they thought I was having an eptopic preg. They did an ultrasound and couldn't find the baby ( it may be to small still) it didn't look like my tubes were enlarged so they think I had a miscarriage or the fetus died in my tummy!! my hormone levels came back at 1250 could I still be pregnant? if so what could the pain be they said normally in miscarriages the pain is in the centre not the right side.

I think that an hcg of only 1250 is pretty low..... Also, I would think that they would have at least seen a yolk sac or fetal pole with the ultrasound. Are they going to recheck your hormones? With an ectopic, the numbers rise too slowly, but rise. When I had one it went from 500 to 600 in 3 days.... should at least double in that time. If it's an ectopic, you'll definitely need medical intervention. Are you still bleeding or was it just spotting that has stopped? Your body doesn't start to produce hcg until the baby implants, so you think that they would have seen something. I hope for the best for you and that the baby just wasn't big enough to see! I would give the dr another call if I were you. Also if you're pain continues or gets worse, you need to go to the ER right away... no point in risking your life or losing a tube when you want another baby.

When you went to the emergency room did they do a DNC or Cervical scrapping if not then you might still have traces of afterbirth from the placenta which is why you had high hormone count. Having had three(3) miscarriages two in one year, the first one I had severe abdominal pain in middle lower part just above my vaginal area and I bleed heavily passing clots and all, so this could be true that you did or still are having a miscarriage. I am so sorry. But guess what I have a now two year old. Get a second or even third opinion to be sure. Okay Good Luck! God Bless!!

Did you ask your doctor for another pregnancy test? That would be a good way to tell if you're pregnant or not. If you miscarried though, your body could still have the pregnancy hormone levels in it for several weeks after the miscarriage. It would be wise to get tested a few times over the course of a several weeks to be sure.
Also, if the pain is severe, you might want to think about having your doctor check your appendix. I've heard that causes pain too when that's going bad. Good luck!

My wife had a miscarrage and it sounds like you may have.
If your hormone levels are dropping it is because may have lost some of the placenta because the placenta is where the hormone actually comes from.
When my wife lost hers we actually done a pregnancy test after shee started bleeding and the test was positive because the placenta releases the hormone not the embro.
But Im no gyno so I cant say one way or the other.

there is still a chance that you could be pregnant. sometimes during the first month a woman bleeds during the implantation and the egg attaching itself to the uterine wall. Go back to your OB in a week and let them check. Keep your fingers crossed and good luck.

What are you waiting for? Go to the obgyn and get a real ultrasound that is done internally. It will tell you if you are preg. or not. Why would you wait?

I have heard about many things, other than miscarrying, that cause bleeding during pregnancy. Go see your doctor right away, and get another test done. Have another ultrasound done.

Not pregnant, + you are way too stressed, 1 week? you need at least 2 months of missed period to be on the safe side sorry if that is not what you wanted to hear.
