Are you pregnant? If so, how far along are you? If you are in your third tri-mester try sleeping sitting up in a chair, on the sofa, or in your bed with both legs elevated or with a small pillow under your knees. If pregnancy isn't the case. Then talk to your doctor this could be a sign of a severe kidney infection. Lay off the sodas, coffee, juice (unless 100% cranberry), and start drinking lots and lots of water. I hope this helps!

I would suggest going for a pregnancy massage. It can get expensive but it is so worth it. Not only will you get pain relief, but you dont have to take any pain killers. I also use the chiropractor, but I know a lot of people are against or affraid of the chiropractor. If you have extended medical it may pay for the massage with a doctors referal. Miine does. I would look around your area for a registered massage therepist. as nice as it is to go to the spa it can be very expensive. My 45 min massage with the RMT is around 50, but at a spa would be closer to 75. Good luck

Oh gosh I used to have back pain with my pregnancies.
I learned a couple of little tricks in a class years ago.
1) Lay on the floor and put your feet up on the wall. It really helps your back feel better quickly.
2) Sit back to back with your husband. Oooh, feels so good.
After the fact I learned that I should have gotten my stomach muscles stronger before I became pregnant, because the stomach muscles support the back

When I was pregnant with twins, Physical therapy worked miracles on my back. I only weigh 110 normally, I have hip dysplasia and I was carrying twins, when I started having really bad back pain during the pregnancy my OB reffered me to a physical therapist and it worked instantly. Find one that practices a technique called "strain counter-strain." I saw her until I was 35 weeks along because at that point the hormone to loosen your ligaments was far to abundant in my system to make therapy productive. I promise you it will work I was truly amazed by it.

You say you take a shower, but try a bath. You are off your feet and sorta floating. That helps me alot. I live in Florida & I get into our heated pool and that is just awesome. Take a little time off, go to a hotel and get in their heated indoor pool, and just float. It feels so good to be weightless. You could also try pregnancy massage. Call around to find a spa that offers it, make sure they have a spa there, you can relax in their "hot tub". You just have to take it easy in there, just don't get overheated. Good Luck!

Go to a chiropractor and let him give you some adjustments. It works for me. Once I could hardly walk and after one adjustment I had no pain. I know how miserable back pain can make you feel.
