A few others suggested this, but I agree: your school. Many colleges offer grant programs, on campus jobs, or have a career office. Just start making calls or surfing your college website. You'll find the information.
*I got two different grant funded jobs through my university that paid over $10/hr and they worked around my school schedule.

Try on campus. Working on campus is great because you can work before or after classes and they are always great about time off and holidays you automatically get off.
Or check out the school bulletin board. You will find those really wanting to hire college students.

try at the college like a work study program or just go find one in the town the college is in

You are in college to learn how to write in English. Once you have done that, you will be able to get a job in any business. From the looks of things, it's going to take awhile.

I worked for Marriott in college as a front desk clerk - they pay decent, give health benefits for full time employees and work around your class schedule.
